Job description

Trinity Washington University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach one or two of the following courses for Fall 2018.
MATH 123: Pre-Calculus, 4 cr, meets Mon Wed 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM; Friday 9:00 AM – 9:50
MATH 125: Calculus & Analytic Geometry I, 4 cr, meets Mon Wed 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM; Friday 10:00 AM – 10:50 AM;
MATH 210: Statistical Inference, 3 cr, meets Mon Wed 1:30 PM – 2:45 PM

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in mathematics or a related discipline and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills. Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.
