Job description


The individuals selected will have the primary responsibility of teaching online Sociology courses through the General Education Department for various undergraduate programs in the Virtual College.

Potential candidates must, at minimum, possess a master’s degree in sociology from a regionally accredited institution. Ph.D. candidates will be given preference. (No degrees in Education, Adult Learning, or Higher Education will be considered.) Candidates with online teaching experience at the post-secondary level will be given preference. The institution currently uses Moodle as the LMS used to deliver online courses. Selected applicants will be enrolled in training prior to receiving a teaching assignment.

Details pertaining to salary will be provided if selected to attend the online training.
