Brockport’s nationally recognized Department of Dance is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD).
The College at Brockport is seeking applicants for potential part-time adjunct faculty in the Department of Dance.
The department typically hires adjunct faculty to teach studio, classroom-based, hybrid, and on-line courses for the subject areas/courses listed below, but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department.
Illustrative needs or job duties include but are not limited to:
- Dance History
- Dance Research
- Children’s Dance
- Dance Pedagogy
- General Education Courses, classroom and studio-based
- Laban Movement Analysis
- Master’s Degree in Dance or a related field from an accredited US Department of Education or an internationally recognized institution.
- Master of Fine Arts Degree or Doctorate in Dance or a related field from an accredited US Department of Education or an internationally recognized institution.
- Significant teaching experience.
