As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll provide program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. FIN-650: Managerial Finance
This course discusses elements of business financial decisions, including financial forecasting and development of proformas, management of working capital, capital budgeting, capital structure, and raising funds in capital markets.
Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:
- Ability to travel to the Main GCU Campus at 3300 W. Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85017
- Ability to facilitate course once a week in person from 5:30p – 9:30p while facilitating remainder of course online.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Preferred: PhD/DBA Finance or Doctorate in another business discipline with Finance emphasis.
- Minimum: Masters in Business Administration or Masters in Finance or Masters in Financial Economics. Graduate degree must be from a regionally accredited university AACSB accredited program or ACBSP accredited program.
