Purpose of Position
Pending final budget approval, the Soules College of Business at The University of Texas at Tyler (UT Tyler) is seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Management at a salary commensurate with experience. Position is available Fall 2019. Review of applications will begin immediately and the position will remain open until filled.
UT Tyler is a component of the University of Texas System and is located in the beautiful East Texas lake country on I-20 corridor, about 100 miles east of the Dallas and 200 miles north of Houston. Tyler is economically strong and rapidly growing community with a population of 100,000. The Soules College of Business houses five academic departments, with a student population of 2100 students and more than 60 full-time faculty and staff members.
The department just moved into a brand new 56 million dollar building with all new offices, classrooms and laboratory facilities to meet the rapid expansion of the programs in the college. UT Tyler is a component of The University of Texas System and is located in the beautiful East Texas lake country with tall trees and rolling hills on the I-20 corridor, about 100 miles east of Dallas and 200 miles north of Houston. The department offers a baccalaureate industrial technology degree and a graduate industrial management degree with approximately 100 students in each program.
Ph.D. or D.B.A. from an AACSB accredited institution (ABD candidates close to completion will be considered).
The ideal candidate should be committed to excellence in teaching and research, and have the potential to publish in high quality outlets. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses including online delivery.
There is a preference for candidates with a strong interest in Strategy and Entrepreneurship.
