The Department of Chemistry and Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a tenure-track position in physics, beginning August 2019. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D in physics or a closely related field and will be expected to teach throughout the physics curriculum.
Candidates who can successfully engage undergraduates in research will be given strongest consideration. Postdoctoral experience is preferred and all research specialties will be considered. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship.
