Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Social Justice and Civic Engagement Coordinator will report to the Associate Dean and Director for Student Success. The scope of this position is to develop programs and services that organize actions around the mission, vision, and core values of the university which involves educating leaders for positive change and promoting students as citizen leaders.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate an understanding of the core values of Holy Names University and the ability to translate those values into college access, success and engaged participation. A Master’s Degree in a related field is essential to this position, along with: (a) a minimum of one year of experience in higher education, (b) excellent communication skills, (c) sound problem solving abilities, (d) and an understanding of how to use dialogue as a means for moving through structural conflict and (e) the ability to develop and lead programs, events and service activities.
