Chatham University is seeking applications for a full-time assistant or associate professor of Management Information Systems for our IACBE accredited business and entrepreneurship Department. Teaching responsibilities will include some combination of the following courses: information systems and operations, database management systems, advanced database systems, introduction to programming, introduction to data science, information security web design, computer networking and telecommunication, systems analysis & design, business analytics: research methods, integrative capstone, information systems and analysis, and other courses, as assigned. Faculty will collaborate with and teach in the Data Science Analytics program as well.
The successful candidate is expected to develop and maintain an active research program. Qualified candidates will have completed or be near completion of a Ph.D. or its equivalent, in Management Information Systems, Data Science Analytics, Computer Science, Operations Management, Statistics or related fields. Additional responsibilities include working with and developing productive relationships with the broader business, government and NGO community in Southwestern Pennsylvania, advising students, and providing service to the profession and the Chatham academic community.
