The School of Business invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management beginning August 2018. Faculty positions have defined responsibilities in teaching, scholarship/research and service (University, professional, and community). Publication in peer-reviewed journals, strong collegial and collaborative skills, and effective teaching will be expected.
The School of Business offers undergraduate business programs in Professional Accountancy, Business Education, and Business Administration with the following specializations: accounting, economics/finance, entrepreneurial studies, human resource management, management, marketing, tourism and hospitality management, as well as an MBA. The BHSU School of Business earned AACSB accreditation of its Business Administration, Professional Accountancy, and MBA programs in May 2014.
*Teach undergraduate courses (face-to-face, online, and at an extension location) in one or more of the following areas: human resource management, management, entrepreneurship
*Engage in appropriate research/scholarly activities
*Participate in service activities
(Note: The teaching load is four courses/semester with summer teaching possibilities.)
*PhD in one of the following fields: human resource management (HRM), industrial organization/psychology, management, entrepreneurship, or related area preferred. ABD will be considered.
*Willingness to teach online
