Job description

Black Hills State University is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure track position in Graphic Design and Art as part of its BFA and Mass Communication Programs.

Black Hills State University offers BFAs in Photography, Graphic Design, and Studio Art, as well as a Mass Communication degree which includes Graphic Design courses. The course load is four classes per semester. Subjects to be taught may include beginning, intermediate, and advanced graphic design, web design, video and 4-D Art.

The successful applicant will have experience in (or a strong understanding of), the following:
*Graphic design
*Web Design
*Adobe Creative Suite and related imaging software

Experience in any of the following areas is also desirable:
*Art history
*Studio art
*Mobile Application Design
*Game Design
*4-D Art
*3-D printing

MFA course work expected complete by August 1st 2018. Minimum of one year teaching experience and/or professional workshop level teaching experience in digital media or related field.
