Job description

Yale University’s Department of English Language and Literature invites applications for one or two tenure-track assistant professors in World Anglophone Literature beginning July 1, 2019, with PhD preferred by that date.

We are searching for outstanding scholars and teachers who will contribute broadly to Yale’s profile in the Humanities by working in Anglophone literature and culture from beyond the United States and Great Britain, in any period, including but not limited to research centered in Africa, South Asia, the Caribbean, Canada, and the Pacific.
