RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Department of Management in the College of Business at Minnesota State University, Mankato seeks qualified applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively teaching courses in the Human Resources and Management programs, including talent acquisition and management courses. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, contributing to student growth and development (e.g., involvement with the student SHRM organization), scholarly research or achievement, collaboration with business and industry partners (e.g., professional development programs and certifications), and service to the department, college, university, and region.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-PhD in Human Resources Management or other terminal degree in business, law, or related field with coursework or studies in human resources management (ABD will be considered)
-At least 1 year industry experience in public, private, non-profit or research consulting in sectors with responsibility for human resources functions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment
-Successful experience in human resources training or higher education teaching
-Current certifications through the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM)
-Knowledge or expertise in emerging fields in human resources, such as human resources business analytics or human resources strategy
-Successful experience in training, development, or teaching in on-line or hybrid delivery modes
-Demonstrated ability to conduct applied research
-Demonstrated success collaborating with human resources practitioners.
