In addition to having strong teaching skills and an active scholarly agenda, the successful candidate will teach courses focusing on American politics and public policy and be able to contribute to departmental efforts to increase civic engagement.
The person selected for this position will be a visible and engaged faculty member in our department, the university, and the community. The successful candidate will have experience or demonstrable interest in working closely with students in research and advising.
