Job description

The College of Liberal Arts at Northeastern State University is seeking a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor to teach graduate level social work classes. NSU’s MSW program’s specialized practice is Indigenous and Rural Populations.


Social work faculty members teach a full-time load (12-13 credits/semester), serve on academic committees, advise and mentor students, perform scholarly research activities, and service activities.

Degree Requirements:

  • PhD in Social Work or an EdD with social work emphasis preferred
  • Master of Social Work required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years of practice experience in the field.
