Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Educational/School Psychology in the Department of Psychology, to commence on August 1, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Educational/School Psychology, the qualification to practise as educational/school psychologist, a good record of research, and sound indicators of teaching abilities in educational/school psychology. The appointee is expected to maintain an active research programme, and be responsible for teaching courses at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels, and supervising research students. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary, as well as annual leave and medical benefits.
