The Departments of Pathology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Children’s Hospital Colorado are seeking a full-time neuropathologist faculty member at an academic rank appropriate to experience. This position will be a shared position for a full-time neuropathologist.
At Children’s Hospital Colorado, the successful candidate will assume major responsibilities and call coverage in diagnostic neuropathology, pediatric surgical pathology and autopsy service.
At the University, the position will require coverage of diagnostic surgical and autopsy neuropathology. Only autopsy neuropathology, and not general autopsy, service is anticipated.
Active participation in medical student teaching and resident training is required. Active participation in the pediatric pathology fellowship program is also expected. Academic and research productivity are encouraged.
The successful candidate must be eligible for a Colorado state medical license.
The candidate must be board certified/board eligible in both neuropathology and pediatric pathology.
The candidate would be proficient in adult and pediatric tumors, neurodegenerative and developmental disorders, as well as ocular, nerve and muscle diseases.
