The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology and CyberLearning Innovation and Research Center (CIRC) at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey (New Brunswick) are seeking for a Non-Tenure-Track faculty position. Salary will be commensurate with experience. For the position, we seek candidates from all subdisciplines of chemical education, but with special emphasis on expertise in physical chemistry, with research that addresses chemistry-based pedagogical innovation, and/or online instruction and data analytics. This faculty member would join a large group of chemistry educators and technical specialists involved in the design of innovative instruction technology to conduct collaborative research and engage in teaching. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is required and postdoctoral or faculty experience is preferred. The successful candidate is expected to develop a robust research program, teach chemistry courses, take leadership in key projects with the CIRC, and mentor undergraduate and graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) students. External funding and independent scientific productivity are also expected.
