The Department of Language and Literature announces an opening in English for a tenure-track position to begin fall 2019. The application deadline is January 23, 2019.
The department is seeking a faculty member committed to excellence in teaching, in serving students and in integrating faith and learning on a Christian liberal arts campus. A Ph.D. in English is required and an emphasis in late 19th century to contemporary British literature would be beneficial. College teaching experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a minimum of two first-year writing courses each semester as part of a typical four-course semester load.
