The School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University is searching for a tenure track or tenured faculty member with a specialty in Organizational Behavior. We are particularly interested in candidates with a focus on Public Personnel Management, Work Motivation and Work-Related Attitudes, Organizational Change, or Organizational Innovation. Research methods may be qualitative and/or quantitative in nature. We are particularly interested in candidates employing innovative research designs, such as (but not limited to) field experiments, and with expertise in psychometrics. The successful candidates will be expected to develop an extramurally-supported research program. Candidates may be appointed at the rank of assistant or associate professor. Appointment at the full professor level may be possible for a candidate with an exceptional research record in the specified areas of expertise.
We are especially interested in applicants with a record of successful teaching and mentoring of students from all backgrounds (including first-generation college students, low-income students, racial and ethnic minorities, women, LGBTQ, etc.) and an interest in contributing to SPEA’s programs, curricular offerings, and research portfolio in ways that enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion; applicants are encouraged to address these topics in the letter of application.
Minimum educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in a related field (e.g., public administration, public affairs, political science, public policy, psychology, sociology, or business administration) and evidence of a developed research program.
