The School of Health Sciences in the College of Health and Human Services at Salisbury University is accepting applications for the position of Fitness and Wellness Lecturer. This is a 10-month, full-time, non-tenure track position.

Primary Job Duties: Teach 12 hours per academic semester (fall and spring). Teach the lecture and/or activity components of FTWL 106: Lifelong Fitness and Wellness or other courses within the School of Health Sciences. Advise undergraduate students within the School of Health Sciences as needed. Assist in on-going program evaluation, administration, and improvement. Support adjunct instructors and graduate assistants as needed. Assist Fitness & Wellness Course Coordinator with other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Earned Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, Health, or a related field. College teaching experience. Candidate must be computer and heart rate monitor proficient and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Certification in strength and conditioning, group fitness, or yoga. CPR/AED certification.
