Job description

The Department of Communication Design at Kutztown University invites applications for multiple full and part time temporary positions in Graphic Design and Digital Design starting Fall 2018. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: Masters in Design or a related field, and one year college-level teaching experience or equivalent professional experience in the Design field. Candidate must be proficient with industry-related software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and able to produce high-quality, computer-based design, layout, and illustration. Experience with basic animation and coding is a plus. Class responsibilities: the candidate will teach a variety of Communication Design foundation courses. A successful interview and demonstration of relevant ability required.
