The Department of Mathematics at Westfield State University invites applications for a full-time, one-year, temporary, Instructor or Assistant Professor level position beginning September 1, 2018.
The ideal candidate will be qualified for and interested in teaching a wide variety of classes. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate education and broad potential for excellence in teaching.
The teaching load is 12 credits per semester.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Applicants must have achieved an ABD, Ph.D. or Ed.D. prior to September 1, 2018.
The successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of undergraduate courses. Experience and/or interest in teaching mathematics for elementary education majors is a plus.
