Description of Work Unit

The College of Agricultural Sciences at C.S.U. offers undergraduate majors with different concentration options as well as graduate degree programs within the College and its five academic departments. Graduates of the College are highly sought by public and private industry leaders as well as governmental entities and agencies. Our students are mentored by world class faculty, participate in international and study abroad opportunities and learn the importance of service and outreach to our communities, state and nation.

Position Summary

Temporary or part-time instructor positions may become available throughout the year in any one of our five academic departments. Areas include: Animal Sciences (AS), Bioagricultural Sciences and Pest Management (BSPM), Horticulture and Landscape Architecture (HLA), Soil and Crop Sciences (SCS), or Agriculture and Resource Economics (DARE).

Required Job Qualifications

Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution; terminal degree preferred. Additional required qualifications, rank and salary determined by specific position to be filled.

Preferred Job Qualifications

Teaching experience in a higher education setting.
