The Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering invites applications for multiple full-time, non-tenure track lecturer positions with primary responsibilities in teaching and mentoring. The positions provide an opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative projects and pedagogies in an environment where excellence in teaching is needed and valued. We seek candidates who are committed to building an inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
Applications are sought for positions in the Department of Chemical Engineering. Individuals are expected to teach core courses in separation processes, transport phenomena, experimental design, process dynamics and controls, process and product design, and materials. Lecturers are full time positions, and successful candidates will teach a total of 24 credits over two semesters with the possibility of teaching summer classes for additional compensation. Although the lecturer position is non-tenure track, the position offers the potential for employment security in two- to five-year reappointments. Qualifications: The candidate should possess a Baccalaureate degree in chemical engineering and a Master’s degree in engineering or related field – Ph.D. preferred. In addition, the successful candidate is expected to have excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven record of excellence in teaching is desired.
