Position Description

The George R. Brown School of Engineering at Rice University in Houston, Texas, invites applications for a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure-track lecturer position beginning July 1, 2018. The initial term of appointment is one academic year, which may be renewed contingent upon performance, availability of resources and the needs of programs.

Candidates must have a PhD degree in industrial engineering, operations research, or a related field and have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching.

The successful candidate is expected to lead a new professional masters program in industrial engineering, teach four courses per academic year, and help foster industrial engineering activities across the university.
