Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in a field of study offer at KSU – TBD faculty position in the Honors College, and Academic Home Department -TBD, which begins August 2019.
Duties will include teaching Honors sections of KSU 1101 and other courses based on Honors College needs, advising Honors students during peak times, coordination of Honors Capstone Proposals and Capstones, review of applications for Honors College, and support of Honors College curricular and co-curricular activities.
- An earned Master’s degree or higher in a program discipline offered at KSU (or its foreign equivalent)
- Must be approved at the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level by academic home department -Higher education teaching experience
- Experience supervising undergraduate or graduate research
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness
- Evidence of teaching or working with a culturally and ethnically diverse community
- Attention to detail
- Able to manage complex tasks
- Excellent communication and writing skills
