The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Lecturer in Physics. This opening is for the 2018-2019 academic year and is a one-year initial appointment subject to subsequent multi-year reappointments without limit.
The candidate would be expected to: teach 12 credits per semester of undergraduate physics lecture and laboratory courses, and contribute to department and University service; demonstrate disciplinary currency.
The Department of Chemistry and Physics, which offers an ACS certified degree in chemistry, includes 15 full-time faculty and two and a half support staff and serves approximately 500 undergraduate seeking degrees in chemistry, biology, and medical laboratory science.
