The School of Built Environment has for 20 years contributed to the development of Aotearoa New Zealand and its international community. The School is accredited by a wide range of national and international organisations for the quality of its teaching and research. The Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS), the NZ Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredit SBEs programmes.

The School of Built Environment invites applications from academic scholars who are teaching and researching in the area of Quantity Surveying. This full-time permanent position is based at the University’s Auckland campus, in Albany.

The successful applicant will have a PhD in Quantity Surveying or complementary field, demonstrated teaching and research expertise and a record of accomplishment of research outputs. You should have a passion for education and research in Quantity Surveying and industry experience.

Appointment will be on the Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor/ Professor scale at a level commensurate with qualifications and experience.
