Assistant Professor Position in International Business
Applications are invited from qualified individuals for an Assistant Professor position in International Business beginning August 16, 2019. Candidates should expect to have completed their doctoral degree by Spring 2019. We seek candidates with an expertise in International Business, who can interact with the `Strategy, Entrepreneurship & International Business’ area faculty within the Department of Business Administration, and who have the willingness and ability to teach a class in Global Supply Chain Management. Salary is competitive.
We are interested in persons who have the potential to achieve prominence through research in the international business area and in related fields (e.g., strategy, entrepreneurship and beyond). While a Ph.D. in international business or a related field is required, we are open to candidates with disciplinary training beyond business (e.g., economics, history, geography, political science, etc.) who can demonstrate the ability to conduct innovative and impactful research on important international business topics. Teaching expectations are high and this position will principally involve teaching a new course in Global Supply Chain Management for undergraduate students.
