Salary: £36,613 – £115,741

As a result of continued growth and success, the School of Civil, Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (CAME) wishes to make up to SIX appointments to our Department of Civil Engineering, ideally in the areas of Structural Engineering, Natural Hazards & Resilience, Engineering Seismology, Infrastructure Systems, Building Information Modelling.

The posts will be at all levels; Professor, Reader, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer.

Building on strong existing research activities in our civil engineering focused research groups, Earthquake and Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Systems & Design, Water and Environment, these posts will offer the scope to align with strategic activities such as our new nationally-shared UKCRIC facilities, our Global Challenges research and our broader thematic research areas of; Infrastructure & Future Cities, Advanced Composites, Nuclear Engineering, and Robotics & Autonomous Systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a School which has a strong and well-established history of, and core research capability in the above areas. A strong multidisciplinary team is in place which currently holds a broad substantive portfolio of research funding across these varied domains. We also offer a portfolio of outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes, to which these posts will be expected to contribute.
