Job description

Marshall University School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine seeks full-time, board eligible/board certified psychiatrists to join a growing department featuring a newly ACGME accredited psychiatry residency program. Duties may include outpatient, inpatient, and consult psychiatry. Faculty psychiatrists will be involved in the teaching and supervision of medical students and psychiatry residents. Opportunities for scholarship and research are available and participation in such is encouraged.

Required Qualifications

Medical degree or foreign equivalent. Must have completed a residency in Psychiatry. Must be board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry. Must have a full and unrestricted West Virginia medical license at time of employment.

Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
