The Department of Applied Sciences (DAS) is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Science to support our established and growing programmes and research profile. You will support students on Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses relating to Forensic Science.
The Department of Applied Sciences runs a number of BSc (Honours), MSci and MSc programmes in Forensic Science. We are seeking someone experienced in teaching and research in Forensic Science to support these programmes (where candidates with an expertise in Chemical Science will be prioritised). You will be able to demonstrate particular experience in teaching and assessing Forensic Science across all levels, from foundation to post-graduate, with experience to include laboratory practicals and digital approaches.
At senior lecturer level, you will lead and participate in the design, development and assessment of module(s), and perform a visible leadership role in relation to the teaching team. You may also be required to undertake administrative duties associated with a highly active academic science department, as required by the Head / Associate Heads of Department.
