Kutztown, PA

The Department of Anthropology and Sociology at Kutztown University invites applications for a part-time Sociologist to teach two classes in Fall 2019 and two classes in Spring 2020. The successful candidate will have teaching experience with courses commensurate with the department’s needs. Experience teaching in one or more of the following areas is preferred: race and ethnicity, family, social movements, organizations, and gender. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: a Master’s degree in Sociology and two years of teaching experience. Preferred: a Ph.D. in Sociology.
