Position Summary

The Department of Economics at Colorado State University invites applications for the position of Special/Temporary Assistant Professor or Instructor to teach courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and/or various applied fields.

These are non-tenure track positions.

Required Job Qualifications

Requirements for special/temporary assistant professors are a Ph.D. in Economics. Requirements for special/temporary instructors are a minimum of two years of graduate course work in economics (Master’s degree in economics preferred). Demonstrated commitment to and evidence of excellence in college level teaching experience.

Preferred Job Qualifications

Preference is given to individuals who have passed PhD comprehensive theory examinations, who have taken the relevant field courses, and who have a record of excellence in teaching. Master’s degree in economics preferred for instructors.
