Job description

The Department of Elementary and Middle Grades Education in the College of Education at East Carolina University is seeking applications and nominations for a fixed term, nine-month, full-time faculty position available August 2018. Rank and salary: Commensurate with qualifications.

Responsibilities of this position include: Teaching 6-9 middle grades courses in curriculum and/or classroom management on campus and off campus, teach state required test preparation; work on collaborative curriculum revisions; and serve on committees. Candidates will supervise practicum experiences and/or internships and provide service to the university, community, and profession. Other duties as assigned by the department chair.

Minimum Education/Experience:

Requires Master of Arts in Education in middle or secondary education, curriculum and instruction, or related field; teaching experience in a public school setting; and eligibility for NC teaching licensure.
