Job description

Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow in the Department of Economics.

The Postdoctoral Teaching Fellows are needed to teach courses in any areas of Economics and Finance; in particular, we are looking for individuals with expertise in Environment, Development, Financial Econometrics, or public Economics

The successful applicant will be required to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses as agreed with the Head of Department, and participate in departmental curriculum design activity and teaching quality enhancement activities. The successful candidate will also be required to supervise undergraduate and MSc projects, and act as a Personal and Academic Tutor.

The successful applicant must have teaching experience at undergraduate, and preferably also postgraduate level. It is expected that the post holder will have a PhD or be in a position to submit a PhD during the period of appointment. The successful applicant must also have research skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The post is available from September 2018 for a fixed term period of 12 months to September 2019. This post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
