Department of Theatre and Dance seeks a full-time Lecturer of Theatre (position #126310) for the 2018-2019 academic year. This is a one-year temporary position beginning August 1, 2018 with possible renewal up to three years.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach theatre courses, such as Theatre Appreciation. Additional coursework may be taught in Acting, Script Analysis, or other areas as needed.
Candidate must have a terminal degree in Theatre by the start of the appointment.
Applicants with one or more years teaching experience in higher education and experience in and a commitment to teaching in a multicultural environment with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles will receive special consideration as will applicants with prior experience with online instruction.
