Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a visiting faculty position in the Department of Spanish and Linguistics beginning Fall Semester 2019. The rank will be Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor depending on qualifications. Applicants must possess or be close to completing a doctorate in Latin American Literature. Expertise in teaching Colonial Literature is highly desirable. Applicants should have a successful record of teaching Spanish language at the college level. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English required. Position is renewable for a second year pending departmental review and administrative approval. Teaching load is 3/2 and may include participation in the College’s general education requirement. The position also requires tutoring students in the Spanish Writing Center.
