Job Summary
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX seeks applicants for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry in Organic Chemistry.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach Organic I & II with laboratories or other classes as assigned (12 load hours). Teaching duties include preparation of syllabus, delivery of lectures, exam and quiz preparation, grading, laboratory preparation, laboratory instruction, assignment of grades and preparation of student learning objective (SLO) reports. Additional responsibilities include recruiting and advising students, course and program assessment, and university/community service.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of organic chemistry sufficient to teach the two-semester organic chemistry sequence with laboratories.

Ph.D. in organic chemistry.
