Wingate University, a residential, comprehensive university located near Charlotte, North Carolina, announces a full-time, one-year faculty position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor of Sport Sciences in the area of Exercise Science beginning August 2018. Applicants should have a terminal degree in Exercise Science or related field from a regionally accredited institution. ABD candidates will be considered. Preferred candidates will have at least two (2) years of exercise science teaching experience at the college level, experience conducting laboratory exercises and have ACSM or NSCA certification(s). Teaching responsibilities for the fall semester include: Introduction to Exercise Science, Principles of Resistance Training, Fitness Promotion and Assessment and Exercise Physiology lab.
