One Visiting Professor of Finance position in the Department of Accounting and Finance beginning August 27, 2018, contingent on funding. Candidates with teaching and/or work experience in all areas of finance will be considered. This position contract is for Academic Year 2018-19, Fall and Spring.
Ph. D. or ABD is required. Professional certification (CFA, CFP), experience teaching finance and relevant work experience in finance are all considered assets. Applicants should demonstrate capacity for high quality teaching (as evidenced by teaching evaluations if available).
Applicants must be able to legally work in the U.S. as of the first day of the contract.
Applicants will be expected to teach courses as assigned by the Department of Accounting and Finance.
The Department of Accounting and Finance offers comprehensive undergraduate majors in both accounting and finance. The present faculty consists of 16 full-time positions serving 450 accounting majors and 300 finance majors. The Department also provides instruction for the MBA and entrepreneurship programs of the College.
