Tāwharau Ora, the School of Veterinary Sciences (SoVS) at Massey University, invites applications for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Equine Internal Medicine.

In this role, you will provide clinical internal medicine services to clients of the Equine Veterinary Clinic within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital as well as provide clinical and more formal teaching to veterinary undergraduates and residents. Depending on your background, there is the opportunity to develop or expand on your research focus. Participation in clinical research and related scholarly activity is strongly encouraged. Depending on the appointment level, you may also contribute to course coordination, clinical roster leadership and organisation of clinical teaching, and mentorship of academic staff. You will work alongside a friendly, talented, and experienced team of veterinarians and technical staff.

If you have experience in equine internal medicine and are passionate about veterinary education, including clinical teaching, then apply now.
- Previous work experience in equine internal medicine in a referral practice is required, and teaching experience is desirable.
- A specialist qualification in Equine/Large Animal Internal Medicine or eligibility to sit an examination in the aforementioned, is required.
- You must be eligible to work and live in NZ.
- Veterinary professional degree, e.g., BVSc, DVM, VMD etc. from an AVMA-accredited school or one recognised by the Veterinary Council of New Zealand to enable full registration in New Zealand as a veterinarian.
