Job Description

Marshall University (School of Medicine) seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine in Pulmonology to provide evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with known or suspected pulmonary disorders on an outpatient basis at School of Medicine affiliated clinics and on an inpatient basis at hospitals, including Cabell Huntington Hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center, and other MUSOM-affiliated locations. Position will participate in clinical practice/teaching opportunities with medical residents/fellows and students and will initiate and complete clinical research with students and residents as part of their scholarly activities.

Required Qualifications

Medical degree or foreign equivalent. Must have completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Pulmonology. Must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Pulmonology. Completion of fellowship and board eligible/certified in Critical Care preferred. Must have a full and unrestricted West Virginia medical license at time of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of fellowship and board eligible/certified in Critical Care preferred.
