The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine (CUSDM) is seeking outstanding recent dental graduates who possess the DDS and the MPH degrees for a part-time to full-time Instructor level position focused on community engagement in the areas of Admissions and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the School of Dental Medicine. The academic home for this instructor level position would be in the Department of Community Dentistry and Population Health.
The duties for the role of CUSDM community engagement include providing a faculty review of dental applications to dental school and serving as a faculty advisor to first year dental students. With guidance, play a liaison role supporting more experienced student affairs faculty, to help students with wellness issues. Additional duties would be to work with a team on a wellness/resilience program that is being developed for dental students, along with providing faculty support to current DEI-centered pipeline initiatives. Teaching duties would include serving as a faculty member in the preclinical laboratories and making presentations to the DS1 class in a dental public health. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Affairs and the chair of the Department of Community Dentistry and Population Health.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $35,000 – $105,000 .
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
