JOB SUMMARY:  
The Department of Biology at Minot State University is currently seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track, benefited position as laboratory coordinator and lab instructor starting August 2023.

The candidate will teach lab sections for the biology course for non-majors (Concepts of Biology) and for biology courses for majors, which could include Anatomy and Physiology I and II, General Biology I and II, and Introductory Microbiology.  The candidate will work with other biology faculty to ensure students get practical experiences in labs that enhance topics covered in lectures. Responsibilities include lab set-up, lab course materials preparation, teaching, grading, and assessment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in biology

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching undergraduate students, especially in a lab setting.
