Job Summary:  

The Division of Science at Minot State University is currently seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track, benefited special contract faculty member to serve as an instructor for physics courses starting August 2023.

The candidate will be expected to teach a full year sequence of algebra-based physics with lab and astronomy with lab. Responsibilities include lectures, lab set-up, lab course materials preparation, teaching, grading, and assessment.

This is a one-year special contract with the possibility of becoming a full-time tenure-track position in the following academic year.

Minimum Qualifications:

M.S. in Physics

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Physics

Experience teaching undergraduate students, especially at a primarily undergraduate institution.

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
