Description:
The Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work on models at the interface between statistical mechanics, probability theory and conformal field theory.
The successful applicant will collaborate with Professor Federico Camia on the study of various models arising at the interface between statistical mechanics, probability theory and conformal field theory. The main goal of the project is to explore the rich mathematical structure of such models and their connections with other areas of mathematics and theoretical physics.
Applicants must have a PhD in Mathematics or related field.
The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children. Applications will be accepted immediately and candidates will be considered until the position is filled.
