The French & Francophone Studies Program at Bucknell University invites applications for a full-time, one-year replacement position (potentially renewable) at the assistant professor level in French Studies to begin August 2020. The field of specialization is open, but preference will be given to candidates with strong experience in second language acquisition. We seek candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching French language and culture at all levels in a liberal arts setting and to a diverse student body. Applicants must also exhibit superior linguistic proficiency in the target language. The teaching load is three courses per semester. A Ph.D. is required at time of appointment.
