Marymount is a comprehensive, private, comprehensive Catholic university in northern Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. Founded in 1950 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM), Marymount welcomes a diverse student body of all backgrounds and faiths and provides a Catholic faith-based education experience that promotes dialogue, understanding and service, as well as academic excellence, enhanced by intellectual and personal development.
