Founded on the 1st of May 2009, Rhine-Waal University began study activities in the Winter Semester 2009/2010 with the first three courses of study offered already in September 2009. Twenty new Bachelor and three Master degree programs will begin in the four faculties “Technology and Bionics” (Emmerich), “Life Sciences” (Kleve), “Society and Economics” (Emmerich) and “Communication and Environment” (Kamp-Lintfort) in the Winter Term 2011/2012. Thus, the university will have 23courses to offer that are taught in German or in English.
